Loved doing this ram.
this is brilliant, good one with the bird LOL
Great work with this!
Got this when I had time. A fun draw!
Thanks Scott!
I think this turned out great, Heathyrre!
Very nice work here!
Very nice!
This is great! I love the texture on the horns!
Here’s the ram. Gave up on this for awhile, but glad I came back to it.
A couple weeks late but at least I got it done. Cognitive challenge is great and enjoyed the challenge. The shading is the biggest challenge. Thanks Scott!
good job on this
could work on this more but call it a day for now
Here’s my ram… his head and neck got out of proportion . I tried shading in the basic form in the beginning, instead of using line, to try that method again… clearly without success. Lol. I tried adjusting and fixing it , but it just didn’t work. Oh well, good practice!
Very nice work!
Hi!Here is my Ram ! 🙂
This was a fun drawing and it’s great to see the different ways others draw the same subject. When coming back to post my photo I see the jaw could be heavier.
Had a lot of fun with the ram drawing. Finally got the fur to a level that I liked. Thanks Scott for another great session.
Beautiful work!
Thank you, Claude! I appreciate the comments. This is a great drawing!
Very nice!
This looks great! I love the combination of the pens on this gray-toned paper. Beautiful!
This looks great!
Thanks so much, Brenda! This looks great!
This looks great, Urszula! I’m glad you were able to view the recording and I look forward to seeing you in the next session!
Couldn’t attend the live session on Wednesday, but thanks to recording, was able to participate and draw with one day delay!
Stonehenge, 100% cotton paper, 11×14 , Derwent graphite Pencils. Interesting challenge that was! Thank you Scott!
Urszula
Loved the Big Horn! Drawing wild animals is a total thrill! Please do more. Thanks, Scott for an awesome show! Please keep it coming, we love it!
That was real challenge, I adore it . Love drawing animals and your choice and techniques are great. Though I have to learn a lot yet from you!
Bic ball point pen and Sakura gelly roll white ball point. The ball point pen is very unforgiving so even though the snout is all wonky, I’m very pleased with my drawing of this ram. I felt very comfortable with it once I could let go of my anxiety and just draw. I was amazed at the variety of marks I could get from delicate to robust. Thanks for continuing the Drawing Together series.
very nice result
I will draw this one soon, thought I would share this one as it’s related
Great Scott! Thank you again. In spite of a few technical glitches, or maybe because of them, this was a really fun session. I don’t know how you manage to keep your calm and always “ram” through it, but you do and it is always great fun. And i laugh along with you. So thank you very much for not abandoning the session. Looking forward to your portrait session next week…. boy o boy, you do like a challenge!!!
Ram from today’s class. Speed drawing is challenging!
