Probably finished or almost. I wanted to draw the poppy for my dog named Poppi.
Thanks for another great episode!
Beautiful work here, Thom. I love the contrast in this drawing.
I love this! Nice use of color!
Great job with this, Brenda!
This is beautiful, Heathyrre!
Very nice, Vickie!
This is beautiful!
Great work!
This is wonderful, Pia!
Nice work! That’s a rather complex setting. You handled the challenge well!
Here is a plein air painting of a scene by the Kokosing River close to where I live 9×12 oil on linen panel
I can almost never upload the text and sketch together.
Kind regards Pia

Dear Scott,
actually you should have more time for drawing. Then I would put it on its side and look at it over and over and draw on it. But now I’m actually leaving it unfinished.
Kind regards Pia
reminds me of the brave men that fought in the war.
Thank you Thom!
Loved drawing this bear!
Thanks for your instruction , Scott

Here’s my poppy, a week late …again! I enjoyed this drawing, and worked on it a while after the video. I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. I’m disappointed I missed drawing the bear today, but I’ll try making it up soon. Thanks for another great lesson, Scott!
Loved the poppy! Thanks again, Scott!
I HAD to go full color, couldn’t help myself ?. Pastel on kraft paper.
Loved the poppy! Thanks Scott!
Utterly AMAZING!
Charcoal; vine, 6B, 2B on smooth bristol
That was fun, the paper was very textured and was quite a challenge for me.
Great fun….I can bearly wait til Wednesday.
Drawing flowers in black and white is the toughest challenge for me. Trying to get the suggestion of the curved petal is tough here and in watercolor. This was a good exercise. I had to do the seed heads too, thank you for the challenges!
Here it is:
I’m a little behind. That’s why I’m uploading my owl and my piece of cake here. I hope this doesn’t bother you.
Kind regards Pia
Hello Scott from CT/East Cost ,
I just stop working on the poppy, and considered it done. As usual, there is a weak spot in the drawing, or maybe a few. But the weakest, in my opinion, is the part where the petals meet the stem. Had fun anyway. Used charcoal, on Clairefontaine, 250GSM, mixed media extra heavy grey paper. That gray was rather on the dark side, and the drawing looks slightly different on the picture than in real life.
Enjoy the weekend Scott. Urszula
