Acrylic on hardboard. thought I would share this.
Nice!
painted this in Acrylics about 25 years ago.
Drawn on Bristol Vellum. I’m not too wild about the paper texture.
This looks great!
Hi Scott
since I prepared before the lesson, I did not use the app.
Kind regards Pia
No tools other than a #2 cheap pencil and white paper. Loved it! Thanks, Scott…
Great job here, Brenda!
Really find getting the proportions of portraits right and am please with the improvement I am making.
Many thanks for the class, really enjoyable.
Regards Carol Ann
Great job with this!
I enjoy portraits because I really concentrate. Everyone has these features but it’s trying to find the subtle difference that makes them them. I just missed the critique I always do
Wonderful!
Ver nice! I like the mark making here!
Great job with this, Claude!
Good work with this!
Nice work! You incorporated the frustrating smudge well.
Great job here. You handled the eyes well!
Here’s my version of the boy. The eyes were quite a challenge.
Interesting drawing session today with Da Vinci Eye application. Looks like it might be a useful, and fun tool. But I don’t have that application, so had to use the old method of drawing. Here it is: the boy on Stonehenge white 11×15 white paper, created with Derwent graphite pencils.
During the drawing, by accident, I stained the paper right. where the tip of the nose is. Tried to incorporate that mark, but it is still slightly visible, making the tip of the nose a bit darker. But, it was a good practice, anyway. Urszula
My tool was a portional dividerI really enjoyed this lesson
Thanks, Scott

Thank you Scott for sharing this portrait and your knowledge. Here’s my rendition, with a little less to do because of the cropping, I am more able to keep up with you. On Fabriano mixed media paper, a B pencil, blending stomp, kneaded eraser and a piece of felt rag. Looking forward to next week; hopefully the image won’t get away on us!
Really hard this is all after 2 hour struggle. Thought I’d try graphite.
Unfortunately, I won’t be able to join live tomorrow, but I’ll definitely follow the recording. Love portraits and this one in particular! I’ll post my work afterwards. Thanks Scott.
